What the app stores

Your progress, times, statistics and settings are saved only on this device. They are not sent to our servers.

Accounts

Crown Grid has no sign-up or login and does not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts.

Data collected by third-party services

The app uses third-party services that collect the following data from your device:

• Pseudonymous identifiers: the advertising ID, the Firebase app instance ID and the RevenueCat anonymous app user ID.
• IP address, and approximate location derived from it, plus device information (such as model and operating system version), used by AdMob and Crashlytics.
• App interactions: analytics events such as difficulty, board size, time, hints and ad type.
• Crash diagnostics.
• Purchase history for the "remove ads" purchase, handled by RevenueCat and Google Play.

This data is pseudonymous, not anonymous: it can be linked to your device, though not to your identity by us.

Ads

Hints and extra lives come from rewarded ads, and short ads may appear after some wins. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may use the advertising ID and other device identifiers under Google's privacy policy. Where required, we ask for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), and you can change it in the app's Privacy screen.

Analytics and crashes

Usage events and crash reports are sent to Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to improve the game, under the Firebase privacy information. Firebase Analytics uses an app instance ID.

Purchases

The one-time "remove ads" purchase is processed by Google Play Billing (Google's privacy policy) and verified by RevenueCat using an anonymous app user ID. We never see your payment details.

Retention and deletion

Game data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. Firebase Analytics data is retained for 2 months, according to the project's retention setting. Crashlytics crash reports are kept for about 90 days. AdMob and RevenueCat retain data according to their own policies, linked above. To request deletion of data associated with you, email nossemateus@gmail.com.

Security

Data sent from the app to these services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Children

Crown Grid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, the effective date above changes, and significant changes are noted on this page.
